Who we are
We are Jos & Carla, settled in the beautiful north of Portugal because we longed for space, nature, and living with the seasons. Monte Johannes is not a resort, but a home we share with guests who are looking for the same: peace, nature, and time that is not fully planned.
We like clear agreements, a tidy place, and enough freedom to follow your own rhythm. You are not “in a hotel” here, but a guest on our grounds – with privacy, and always someone nearby if you need something.
