🌿 Peace & Respect – House Rules for a pleasant stay

Monte Johannes is a place for peace seekers, nature lovers, and guests who enjoy silence, space, and comfort. To ensure the quality of the stay for everyone, we apply the following conditions:

• Quiet guests only. Our accommodation is intended for people coming to relax. Parties, noisy gatherings, and excessive alcohol consumption are not permitted.

• No groups under 25. We welcome only adult guests and couples. Unfortunately, groups under 25 cannot book with us.

• Safe use of the swimming pool Guests are responsible for the safety of children. Children without a swimming certificate must always be under direct supervision. Walking or running on the edge of the pool is prohibited, as there is a drop of approximately 8 meters at the back.

• Respect for the environment Monte Johannes is situated in a quiet, rural setting. We ask guests to respect this, both during the day and in the evening.

• Maximum occupancy according to reservation. The house is intended for the number of people specified at the time of booking.

• Pets only by consultation. Pets are only allowed after prior consultation and confirmation.

• No BBQs, or only by consultation. For safety and nature conservation, BBQs are only permitted after prior consultation.

• Smoking is not permitted on the premises. To prevent fire hazards and nuisance, smoking is prohibited on the entire premises.

• No open fires. Open fires are prohibited due to the increased risk of forest fires in Portugal.

• Visitors only by prior arrangement. Only registered guests may use the grounds and swimming pool. Visitors are only permitted after consultation.

• No drones without permission. Drones are only permitted after prior permission.

• Parking in designated areas. Use only the indicated parking spaces to protect the grounds and nature, and to minimize nuisance to local residents.

• In case of violation of the house rules: In the event of a violation, we reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately without refund of remaining nights.
